Fernando VII son of Carlos IV. His short reign ended with the invasion of French troops and the accession to the throne of Joseph I Bonaparte. Due to the fact that his descendants were women, he annulled the Salic Law in 1830. He died in Madrid in 1833, giving way to the beginning of the so-called Carlist Wars.
